What you will be doing:
Finance Center of Excellence Accountants monitor end-to-end Purchase-to-Pay (PtP) performance processes for small, medium & larger countries. They lead projects that enhance the PtP process overall, advise stakeholders on complex PtP challenges, and help deploy specific solutions and improvements.
Specialist:
Involves the application of specialist knowledge which may include providing specialist advice to employees, management or suppliers, managing or maintaining systems or processes, or completing projects to develop or change systems or processes as appropriate.
Job Responsibilities:
Purchase to Pay, Project management, Process Specialist, End-to-End Insights, Transformation, Business partnering.
Other Duties:
May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
Geographic Remit:
Up to Regional / Europe / International level.
Forward Planning Responsibility:
Plans and organizes own work on a weekly/monthly basis.
Process Responsibility:
Develops existing and new team processes and procedures.
Internal Contacts:
Regular interaction with First Line Management, Senior Management, and Directors; occasional interaction with Officers (VP and above).
External Contacts:
Occasional interaction with external suppliers.
What do you bring with you:
Background in Finance is advantageous.
Relevant Experience in Purchase to Pay (at least 2 years).
Proven experience on how to post an invoice, search for invoices, vendors, payments, purchase orders, etc.
Knowledge and Experience of the end-to-end Purchase to Pay process.
Experience with leading Purchase to Pay projects.
Experience with business partnering in Purchase to Pay.
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English in a business environment setting. Other desired languages are German, French, Italian, Dutch (B2 Level).
Experience with Excel (Mandatory).
Ability to pay close attention to detail.
Good problem solving and analytical skills.
Keen to learn and approach subjects outside of comfort zone and propose suggestions for improvement.
Experience in an international environment or similar (Plus).
Successful candidates are adept team players and have excellent critical thinking and communication skills. Experience in the Purchase-to-Pay environment of a multi-national company is a must, while experience with finance ERPs (Oracle) and automation is a plus.
General undergraduate degree (e.g., bachelor's degree); Accreditation: Specific Business Accreditation.
