Offering both qualitative and quantitative market research worldwide, we are proud to be the research partner of many leading global brands.Our clients are the largest firms in the Technology and Healthcare sectors, including IBM, Microsoft and Sanofi, plus market research agencies and consulting firms such as Kantar, GfK and Ipsos, who use our Global Data Collection Centre for consistent, high quality data.The OpportunityThis is an exciting new role and a great opportunity for a finance assistant looking to develop their career in an international context.Based in our new Development and Operations hub in Porto, Portugal, you will be an essential member of the Finance team and work collaboratively across RONIN's International entities.Key Responsibilities & AccountabilitiesAdminister and maintain the integrity of the Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger within the businesses.Responsible for looking after both sales invoicing and supplier invoices, as well as processing payments.Ensure that Debtors/Creditors are monitored, collected and paid in accordance with appropriate timescales and guidelines.Assist intercompany reconciliation.Manage the Fixed Asset Register.Support the Treasury Function.Provide any other support to the Financial Controller and finance team, as required.About YouYou are a fluent English speaker.You are personable, analytical, hard-working, able to show initiative, work independently and think critically.You are also a good communicator that is confident speaking to suppliers/customers on the telephone and willing to solve queries relating to payment, receipts and any other ad hoc issues which may occur.You are proficient in Sage 50 and MS Office, especially Excel or equivalent.Ideally, you are an accounting graduate, perhaps in the early stages of your ACCA/CIMA (or country equivalent) studies and be a hands-on, enthusiastic and dedicated individual with a passion for your chosen career path
