Overview
INL is seeking an experienced and qualified Field Service Technician to join our Maintenance team. You will be working with a local and experienced team, on a variety of equipment, including Electricity, HVAC, hydraulic pumps, ultrapure water system, water processing, vacuum and compressed air. We are looking for people who can demonstrate excellent experience in building facilities and equipment, perform on-site general repairs/installations, and maintain systems and equipment, focused on keeping the facilities in a properly functioning condition in a safe and timely manner.
Job Duties
Operate in accordance with health and safety regulations, departmental procedures and INL policies;
Carry out day to day maintenance duties across the INL site;
Provide immediate support in the event of breakdowns;
Fault diagnosis and repair of equipment;
Assist equipment installation and setup;
Provide assessments and advice on existing systems as part of a collaborative approach;
Assist maintenance teams to improve and develop current processes and procedures through a continuous improvement approach.
Mandatory Qualifications
Education
Technical Education/Degree in electrical/electronic.
Experience
3 years in a Field Service Technician, namely in the execution of low voltage electrical installations in buildings;
Technical Skills
Good electrical skills gained within a facility environment.
Ability to read drawings, manuals, and electric circuit diagrams as necessary;
Ability to understand schematics and read blueprints;
Ability and willingness to perform general maintenance tasks;
Solid computer skills as a user;
Knowledge in GTC systems.
Other Skills
Fluent in English.
Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
Aptitude and experience in mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and plumbing tasks is a plus.

How the Selection Process works

D. Nomination
