Honeywell's comprehensive portfolio in process control, monitoring, and safety systems and instrumentation provide optimized operations and maintenance efficiencies to meet diverse automation needs.We are currently looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our Industry Automation team in Portugal to be part of one of our largest clients for the oil and gas industry sector located in Sines at the client's site.The primary purpose of this position is to deliver superior customer satisfaction and achieve the development of on-site installation, servicing, and repair processes of complex automation equipment and systems.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Ability to deliver remote and face-to-face support & services effectively. Ability to implement small to large automation projects autonomously or integrated in a project team. Proactively manage and respond to customer questions, issues, and input accurately and within Service Level Agreement timing. Comply with all GSM processes for documentation and customer communication. Maintain proactive and timely communications, providing frequent and informative customer updates. Initiate engineering change requests providing detailed descriptions of product faults, customer special requests, and product enhancements. Install and perform repairs to hardware, software, and peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications. Respond to the high volume of customer inquiries in an efficient and accurate manner, meeting or exceeding the published SLA (Service Level Agreement) for Response and Resolution. YOU MUST HAVE 3-5 years of experience in Automation Systems (DCS, ESD, F&G, PLC, SCADA, etc.) engineering, operations, or services support functions within the Industrial automation industry. Ideally a bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical education background in electronics/electromechanics/industrial automation. Good in English written/verbal. Good in Portuguese written/verbal. Driving license. Availability to travel in the country and abroad. WE VALUE Experience with Honeywell process control systems. Availability to be on call to support customers. Troubleshooting experience. Cyber Security knowledge
