Our Field Service Engineers are essential to ensure the company growth and to keep our market leadership, providing the highest quality service to our clients. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing field service support in your assigned area.
Key AccountabilitiesPerform preventative maintenance, repair and/or installation of instruments at our facilities or at customer's site, including electrical and mechanical testing, in accordance with maintenance contracts.Perform operational training to the clients after the installation.Diagnose system failures and implement the best solution.Give technical support to other FSE in Spain and Portugal, when required.For high complexity interventions, coordinate with the internal or external key players to solve the service call in the most efficient way.Coordinate with other departments of the organization to meet the client's needs.Contribute to develop service agreements and inform the clients about new products.Maintenance and control of the stock assigned.Networking/Key relationshipsThis position requires constant cooperation with external clients, as well as very frequent coordination with different departments of the company: other members of the Technical Service, Sales Force, Supply Chain, Quality, etc.
Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position:Professional qualification (level 4) or a bachelor's degree (Engineering) in science areas: biomedical, electronic, automation engineering or equivalent.Knowledge of electricity, electronics and/or IT.Required: 1-3 years of experience in similar positions.Skills & Capabilities:Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.Capable to work autonomously.Flexible and structured.A real team player.Fluent in Portuguese and English.
