Offer Description NOTICE OF OPENING OF AN INTERNATIONAL SELECTION PROCEDURE FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF A DOCTORATE INITIAL LEVEL RESEARCHER POSITION
By order of 31-10-2024, the Dean of FEUP, Professor Doutor Rui Artur Bártolo Calçada, deliberated to open an international selection procedure for the recruitment of one (1) Doctorate Initial level, within the scope of the Research Project PRODUTECH R3 - Agenda Mobilizadora da Fileira das Tecnologias de Produção para a Reindustrialização nº C645808870-00000067 , funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan and by European Funds NextGeneration EU, in the form of a Uncertain Term Employment Contract, for a period of 6 months , never exceeding the maximum limit of six years.
This recruitment aims at the performance of activities corresponding to the category of Doctorate Initial level, responsible for carrying out the activities foreseen in the project, specifically participating in WP13 of the Agenda PRODUTECH R3 and developing R&D activities in the scope of Project PRODUTECH R3 Agenda .
The Doctorate Initial level will contribute to:
Technical Development
Demonstration in industrial environments
Dissemination and Exploitation
Project Management
The selected researcher may also provide possible collaboration in teaching and training activities in the area of research.
The scientific area of this selection procedure is Industrial Engineering and Management.
General Admission Requirements:
Any national, foreign, or stateless person holding a doctorate in Industrial Engineering and Management, with a scientific and professional curriculum vitae that reveals a profile appropriate to the activity to be developed, may apply.
Specific Admission requirements:
Candidates must have skills and previous experience in at least one of the following areas:
i. Energy efficiency and sustainability;
ii. Data Processing and Analysis;
iii. Advanced Production Systems;
Recruitment method:
Evaluation of the curricular path and scientific career of the applicants (90%);
Interview (10%);
The position can only be awarded to candidates whose final score is 80 points or higher.
