The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination of the Facility Management team and guarantee availability and proper functioning of Ovar Plant infrastructure and real estate.
Your contribution to something big:
Oversee the planning, design, and construction of new facilities and the expansion/refurbishment of existing infrastructure.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
Ensure all facilities and maintenance activities comply with local regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
Develop and implement preventative and corrective maintenance strategies to ensure maximum availability and performance of utilities and infrastructure systems.
Develop and manage budgets for facility projects and maintenance operations, optimizing resources and reducing costs where possible.
Perform coordination of external companies to assure quality level and safety and environmental requirements for soft and hard services.
Provide technical guidance and support to the team, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies to drive operational excellence especially for existing systems and processes.
Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and cost savings, like energy and special gases consumption.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process optimization and implement solutions that improve system performance and reliability.
What distinguishes you:
Degree in civil, mechanical or electromechanical engineering.
5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience. Knowledge of CAFM and CAD as well as relevant technical guidelines, standards and laws.
Strong leadership skills with experience in building and managing teams of engineers and technicians.
Experience in project management and managing an FCM-Budget.
Personality and working method:
Responsible and conscientious.
Strong customer and service orientation as well as good communication skills.
Good time management and coordination skills.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
