Job Description
Your contribution to something big:
As a Facility Manager, you are responsible for the availability and proper functioning of infrastructure and real estate. You are responsible for the planning, awarding and management of trades, repairs, conversion/new construction measures, and building security.
You will perform coordination of external companies to assure quality level and safety and environmental requirements for soft and hard services.
You search for new lease locations and support the property management during lease negotiations.
You coordinate relocations and restructuring of work areas as well as the planning and implementation of maintenance and repair work.
You are also responsible for planning, monitoring, controlling, and optimizing property-related costs and budgets.
You develop standards for the use and equipment of office, production, development, logistics, and assembly areas and initiate, monitor, and implement measures and projects to achieve strategic corporate goals.
You introduce suitable tools and processes in the areas of project management, energy management, space management, relocation management, maintenance, visitor support, building cleaning, and security.
You develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and cost savings. This also includes monitoring energy consumption and environmental impact.
Qualifications
What distinguishes you:
Education: For this position, we are looking for a person with a degree in industrial engineering or civil, mechanical, electromechanical (facility management) or a comparable field of study.
Experience and know-how: You have several years (5 to 10 years) of relevant professional experience. You have knowledge of commercial tenancy law, SAP (nice to have), CAFM, and CAD, as well as relevant technical guidelines, standards, and laws. In addition, you have experience in project and FCM-Budget management.
Personality and working method: You enjoy working in an international virtual team, are responsible and conscientious. You have a strong customer and service orientation as well as good communication skills. Furthermore, you have good time management and coordination skills.
Language: You are fluent in written and spoken English. Further language skills in addition to the local language are a plus.
