Extracurricular Internship: Logistics For Electrical Solutions Manufacturing (F/M/Div.)

Job Description
Your contribution to something big:
This internship aims to support the logistics team of the Value Stream ES (Electrical Solutions), in the transition process from SAP R3 to SAP 4/HANA.
Your main responsibilities will consist of:

Monitoring of Key Performance Indicators of Logistics: coverage of components, Inventory Level of components and finish goods, Service Level of AvP Plant (Finish goods and spare parts), blocked stock, Supplier Service Level, and urgent transport costs.
Derivation of measures and improvements projects.
Participation in Continuous Improvement Activities.
Proactive reporting of components availability for the plant and ensure on-time escalation.
Tracking the delivery of components with the transportation team and the warehouse.
Preparation of the loading plans of finish goods and spare parts.
Preparation of forecast demand to be updated in SAP system.
Participation in the integration tests of SAP 4/HANA, testing of the new features of SAP 4/HANA and reporting possible system errors.

Qualifications
What distinguishes you:

Education: Academic background in Industrial Engineering Management, Management, Economics or related fields.
Knowledge: Proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools; Basic knowledge of inventory management systems and supply chain.
Personality: Proactivity and interest in learning about logistics processes; Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Work style: Ability to work both independently and in a team; Ability to analyze data and problem-solving skills.
Languages: Intermediate or advanced English is desirable.
