Offer Description iBET is recruiting an External Affairs Manager to oversee iBET's Research and Innovation Programs, Pre-Awarding Activities, and Corporate Communication. The selected candidate will be part of iBET's External Affairs Team, managing the iBETXplore innovation program and iBET's pre-awarding activities. They will work closely with iBET Scientists, the Business Development team, and the Managing Board, supporting Corporate Communication, including the organization of relevant events and facilitating interactions with external partners within R&D consortia and partnerships with industry.
Key Responsibilities Management of the iBETXplore Program Support Grant Applications and other Pre-Awarding Activities Corporate Communication Organization of Scientific Events and other Dissemination Activities Admission Requirements Qualifications PhD in the areas of Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related areas within Life Sciences. Proficiency in English and Portuguese, both written and spoken. Requirements Skills: Experience in project management, particularly in a scientific or research environment. Proven ability to establish and nurture partnerships, fostering impactful collaborations. Proven track record in corporate communication aligned with organizational objectives. Experience in supporting the Leadership and Management Boards. Experience in preparing institutional benchmarking and reports for funding agencies and senior management bodies. Experience in implementing capacity-building initiatives and organizing events for multi-stakeholders. Experience in multicultural and international environments. Proven ability to manage risks and handle crises effectively. Track record of success in preparing funding proposals. Strong ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
