Expert, Learning Design

Detalhes da Vaga

McKinsey aspires to build world-class capabilities through learning programs and on-the-job application and advance our position as the preeminent leadership development institution in the world. You will work in McKinsey's Learning Design Center of Excellence (CoE), which is responsible for the design of learning offerings across the entire organization (both internal and productized client offerings).
Your work will span three core areas of our firm: McKinsey Learning, our client-facing McKinsey Academy organization, and our Research and Innovation (R&I) Lab, which fuels our firm with leading-edge learning insights and helps build the learning skills of all our colleagues.
You will design and develop solutions that meet the needs of diverse learners, in multiple formats, across a range of topics. You will work in collaboration with learning team members, Subject Matter Experts, and senior stakeholders to build learning solutions with an eye toward effectiveness, quality, and timeline.
You will bring world-class, creative design expertise to McKinsey, designing approaches and interactions based on the best thinking that learning science, behavioral science, and neuroscience have to offer. You'll use your expertise to design learning that supports specific performance objectives and drives measurable impact.
You'll lead the entire end-to-end design and development cycle, beginning with discussions around the performance needs of the audience and continuing through the creation of learning solutions using a variety of appropriate learning strategies. You'll work across modalities and design approaches including interactive instructor-led classroom, digital, virtual classroom, performance support, and workplace-based learning, all while ensuring solutions meet our high standards for quality and effectiveness.
You will work in a highly collaborative, dynamic, and at times ambiguous environment, designing solutions that balance the near-term learner needs with long-term strategic aspirations of our stakeholder partners.
You will use your expertise to guide the project team to develop solutions in fit-for-purpose learning technologies, as well as contribute to the CoE's awareness of new technologies.
You'll stay abreast of current trends in learning and findings on our user populations and insights from related disciplines, regularly contributing to the research agenda and providing innovative thought partnership.
You'll coach and mentor less experienced content authors and stakeholders in instructional design and development principles, concepts, and best practices.
