Event Planner & Community Manager

Are you looking for an international adventure? We challenge you to become the best Event Planner/ Community Manager in Porto, Portugal! You'll be interacting with our international students and interns staying with us in Porto and making sure their stay abroad is memorable will be your main task!

Tasks:

Proactively organize events (for example a welcome international dinner, yoga afternoons, small workshops about country culture, skills development, sports tournaments, trips, parties with our partners etc)

Look for strategies to welcome new tenants and make the community members from the multiple flats in the city feel integrated and seen

Create content for social media: share with us some photos & videos of the day-to-day life of the community of students or the city you're living in

Become a Student Room Flat ambassador and bring our brand close to the universities and international students and professionals communities

Support the partnerships department

Check our IG and Tiktok to discover some of the fun activities previous Community Managers created: Instagram and Tiktok

Requirements:

You are a social butterfly with a chatty personality and proactive attitude.
You are a people person! Not the right fit if you have a shy personality ;)
You can speak English (proficient), and other languages such as Spanish, Italian, French or Portuguese, for example.
You are a born problem-solver and challenge-taker!
