Within IAM, a centralized and critical cybersecurity team, as a trainee you will engage in activities involving a combination of policies and technologies that manage user identities and access permissions. IAM is instrumental in delivering processes and systems to achieve a highly automated, rule-based, and robust access control framework.
More specifically you will have the following missions:
Liaising with all levels of colleagues, including senior executives, both orally and in writing.Training users in IAM responsibilities.Helping rollout systems and projects in IAM systems and Microsoft technologies.Responding to regulators and producing reporting.Contributing to risk management, cybersecurity, internal controls integration drive.Writing guides, procedures and other documentation related to the framework.Working with ticketing solutions like Jira, to support end-users.Undertaking initiatives to increase automation, efficiency and security.We're hiring an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Trainee who will play a vital role in cybersecurity by supporting the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of IAM solutions.
This role is ideal for individuals with foundational knowledge in Java, MSSQL, and PowerShell, who are eager to learn and grow in IAM technologies such as SailPoint. Focus on Microsoft technologies like Azure, become familiar with AWS, and learn best practices in cybersecurity.
The candidate will be required to understand business processes, key cybersecurity features, collaborate with regulators, liaise with end-users, and ensure compliance across the organization.
As a IAM - Trainee, you will: Assist in implementation, collaborating on configuration and setup of SailPoint IdentityIQ solutions to meet business requirements.Support the creation of servers and databases for functionality.Collaborate with seniors to ensure responsiveness of applications.Develop custom solutions and extensions using Java and MSSQL as required to enhance IAM functionality.Provide operational support for IAM tasks such as user provisioning, access request management, and role-based access control (RBAC).Investigate and resolve technical issues related to IAM systems, including troubleshooting workflows, connectors, and integration points.Maintain detailed documentation of IAM processes, procedures, and configurations to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal security policies by participating in access reviews, audits, and security assessments.Facilitate integration of enterprise applications to enable SSO, for new applications by configuring identity federation and authentication protocols.Develop connectors and integration points to enable automated provisioning, de-provisioning, and access management for cloud-based applications.Contribute to seamless access management across the organization's ecosystem with consistent security policies and controls.Apply knowledge of PAM tools to enhance security and manage privileged access effectively within the organization.Keep abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in IAM.In addition, you'll need the following key skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related field - IEFP Level VI;Basic understanding of Java fundamentals.Familiarity with MSSQL database concepts and querying.Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation tasks.Knowledge of Active Directory, AWS, and Azure cloud platforms is considered a plus.Fluency in English.Good level of French is considered a plus.Ability to thrive in a demanding and fast-paced environment.Good communication skills.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.Familiarity with industry compliance and security standards including, NIST, CIS Controls, ISO 27001.Prior experience or coursework in cybersecurity topics is beneficial but not mandatory.We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
