About this opportunity You'll join a team of 9 employees in Portugal, working closely with the Nordics and you will be a central part of our Data Warehouse Solution team, allocated to a Value stream supporting Finance. Nordea Asset Management is responsible for all actively managed investment products in Nordea and handles the development, implementation, running, support and management of our asset management product offering, including the operational production on behalf of the fund companies.
Your overall responsibilities: Analyse, plan, design and develop solutions that support data flows and business processes.Take part in the data modelling of our data warehouse and BI solutions.Create dashboards, that allows us to monitor our processes.Monitor, improve and constantly optimise existing structures, data flows and processes by coding.Participate in the creation and evolution of a future Domain oriented Data Platform.The role is based in Oeiras with effective management from Oeiras, integrated in the Operations Solutions team, working in close collaboration with the Data Warehouse Solution team in Copenhagen.

Your experience and background: 4 years of experience with TSQL in Microsoft SQL server and 3 years of experience with SSIS and other ETL tools.Experience working with a very large data warehouse environment.Solid understanding and experience in cubes (MS SSAS, both tabular and OLAP), design and development will be considered an extra.Experience in development of ETL processes using GIT will be considered as an asset.Good knowledge of data warehouse principles, data models, architecture and technologies.Knowledge of the Asset Management industry is an advantage, we expect professional curiosity with a willingness to develop your business understanding.Possess good communication skills and good proficiency of English.Experience with Python or C# .net core, PowerBI, Rest APIs, Docker and Snowflake can be an extra.Likes collaborating, curious, pays attention to details, organized, and works well with people.Next steps Submit your application no later than 31/01/2025.
