Job Description Your contribution to something big: Study existing machine learning and deep learning methods applied to automated inspection systems; Investigate different image processing techniques and tools for industrial applications; Gather and preprocess images from the production process, ensuring the dataset is diverse and representative of different product types; Design and implement machine learning or deep learning models (e.g., convolutional neural networks) to process images and generate inspection parameters; Train the model using the production images, fine-tuning it to adapt to different product characteristics; Test the system in a simulated or real production environment to evaluate its performance in detecting defects and measuring product quality; Validate the results by comparing the system's outputs with manual inspection or predefined standards.
Qualifications What distinguishes you: Attending a Master's Degree in Mechanic, Electrical, Physics or Informatics Engineering or a Master's in Artificial Intelligence or Machine/Deep Learning; Fluent in English and Portuguese (spoken and written); Strong interpersonal skills and organization; Ability to work proactively and think critically; Proficiency in programming languages (with experience in Machine Learning and Deep Learning libraries such as TensorFlow, Keras or PyTorch); Knowledge about image processing techniques is a plus.
