With a team of 5,000 employees, we provide €1.6bn energy storage solutions and services to customers worldwide every year.In Portugal, Exide Technologies is located in Castanheira do Ribatejo and we are looking for a CORPORATE ESG SPECIALIST.The specialist will be part of the Global Sustainability team, in an analytical and project-oriented role to support the company's sustainability strategy implementation and reporting.Main Responsibilities:Participation in international corporate projects in the field of sustainable development and climate neutrality.Advisory, educational, and coordinating role in the identification and reporting of ESG (environmental, social and corporate governance) metrics.Cooperation in the creation of documentation, reports, and analyses on ESG activities, as well as in the implementation and monitoring of the corporate strategy in the field of sustainable development.Cooperation with business functions in monitoring ESG-related goals and metrics.Profile:University degree.Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in the sustainability area in a multinational context.Previous exposure to working with suppliers on sustainability matters, including Scope 3 emissions, ESG audits, and EU Taxonomy compliance is a plus.Experience with specialized ESG corporate software is a plus.Capability of being self-organized with good communication skills.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Strong knowledge of MS Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Very good English (C1) in speaking and writing.Excellent opportunity to acquire and develop your skills in a multinational company!If you think you are the right candidate for the above opportunity, please send your current CV in English to ****** is an equal opportunity workplace.
