And of course, in your ideas to improve lives while preserving our planet's beauty for the generations to come.About the roleSolvay launched a "Startek" project last year, which allows to build a specific layer in the data architecture capable of receiving multi source data, where all relevant industrial data is accessible together - one single source of truth. We rely on the Aveva PI system to collect, store, and manage time stamped data. It is a central PIMS server located in the cloud, connecting to each site's PIMS (PI or Aspen IP21), aggregating data and structure. Now most sites in Solvay have this solution implemented, the project activities are transformed to the recurrent activities, we are creating a "Startek" team to manage services related to these activities.The Startek team, composed of 4 people, is integrated in the Digital Manufacturing department of the Digital Technology (DT) service and focuses on Startek PIMS systems in collaboration with several stakeholders within DT, Industrial streams, Global Business Units and our key software editors.As an Enterprise Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Development & Support, you will work on Startek PIMS systems such as Aveva PI, develop and customize the solution, and ensure seamless solution/tool implementation and rollouts across multiple sites.You will be accountable for:Interface development: Develop, test, and maintain the interface between SAP and MES, using REST API protocol, and PIWebAPI; Tools design and development: Make functional & technical specification according to the business requirement, develop, test and rollout the tools; document the scripting solution; Analyze CBM, develop and configure PI AF, PI Vision; Technical Support: Use ITSM tools (e.G., BMC Helix) for ticket management, providing 2nd/3rd level support for the application and tool. Escalate complex problems and major incidents and troubleshooting; Training & Guidance: Provide training on tools developed to end users and support IT team members with technology applications and best practices; Startek committee participation: be part of the "StarTek" committee: collect user cases; create new templates; design and configure data models, libraries; Document, test and deploy the solutions; Project participation: participate in the projects, work closely with project managers, analysts, and system administrators to meet clients' needs and ensure successful project delivery; Devops: ability to deliver some script that is actively used for continuous improvement, improving the overall performance of the team
