Smartcat changes the ROI equation in favor of insourcing with its Language AI platform for enterprise end-users. It delivers high-quality, instantaneous AI translations or generates new content in any language by tapping into a customer-specific multilingual content library. The AI output is further refined through human editing by the client's internal reviewers or experts from the Smartcat's embedded global marketplace of linguists and content editors. This AI output continuously improves through the editing feedback loop, ensuring consistent and customer-tailored results.

Mission
We're looking for an experienced sales professional to join the Smartcat team who is responsible for building relationships, driving revenue and closing business at large enterprises. This is a hunter role, building pipeline and developing a territory mostly through outbound activities (80/20) and requires a high-energy, very organized person with advanced communication skills. Your mission is to identify, source, and close ideal customer prospects to pursue inbound leads and self-sourced leads for your pipeline, while also partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders to achieve team goals. Your success is measured by contribution to Smartcat's industry fastest revenue growth rate of 200–400% yearly.
Your outcomes

Consistently meet or exceed quarterly ARR targets with large enterprise clients with significant translation spend
Manage and own the sales cycle from qualification to close
Consistently meet or exceed monthly KPIs: pipeline generation, deal velocity and progression towards quota attainment

Requirements

5+ years of sales experience within the translation industry or 2+ years of experience in SaaS sales (preferred) selling into executives of large enterprises with significant translation spend
Leverage your localization experience to communicate our mission of transforming the global translation industry
Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective customers through outbound sales and territory development
Strong track record of actively prospecting into new business opportunities
Solid sales fundamentals, business & sales acumen
Drive complex deals from initial contact, all the way through to close within a fast paced sales environment
Connect and consult with inbound leads and marketing generated opportunities.
Prepare and present software demos with prospects and guide them through the buying process
Leverage sales automation tools to track sales activities
Sell to key decision makers (Directors and VPs)
Excellent communication skills to navigate colleague, customer, and partner interactions
