Experience in Bilingual Education: Proven experience teaching in a bilingual or dual-language setting, preferably in grades 1-5, with familiarity in the development of bilingual language acquisition.
Curriculum Knowledge: Expertise in designing and delivering bilingual learning programs, with familiarity in international curricula such as IB PYP, as well as local curriculum requirements.
Classroom Management Skills: Strong classroom management skills, capable of creating a well-structured, inclusive, and respectful learning environment that promotes student engagement and behaviour.
Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of bilingual students, tailoring lessons to suit different language proficiencies and abilities.
Cultural Awareness: Sensitivity to cultural differences and an understanding of how to integrate cultural elements into lessons to make language learning relevant and meaningful for students.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues in a bilingual educational setting.
