Job Title: Middle and Upper School English Teacher - Language and Literature For the academic year 2024-2025, we are recruiting for a qualified Middle and Upper School English Teacher - Language and Literature.
Requirements University graduates with a degree in English and a recognised teaching qualification.
Possess a valid EU passport or working permit allowing them to work in Portugal.
Qualities such as innovation, creativity, collaboration, and flexibility.
Key Responsibilities Teaching a range of classes, including MS Language and Literature, broadly based on the National Curriculum of England and Wales.
Teaching Cambridge International IGCSE English (Lang and Lit) and Cambridge A Level Language (9093) and Literature (9695).
Working as part of a team and contributing to the school community as a whole.
Creating innovative resources to share collaboratively with the team.
Participating in professional development to improve practice.
Working with a team to improve literacy across the whole school.
