What are we doing? We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Engineering Team Lead to manage and inspire a team of engineers to deliver high-quality software products. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a collaborative approach. You will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and developing a team, driving technical direction, ensuring project timelines are met, and maintaining high engineering standards.
What will you do? Leadership & Mentorship : Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance on professional development and technical skills.
Project Management : Oversee the planning, design, and execution of engineering projects. Ensure that the team delivers projects on time and within scope.
Technical Expertise : Provide technical direction and contribute to the architecture and development of solutions.
Collaboration : Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to align the engineering team's work with business objectives.
Code Review & Quality Assurance : Ensure high-quality code by conducting code reviews and promoting best practices in software development, including testing, security, and performance optimization.
Continuous Improvement : Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process and product enhancements.
Team Building : Support recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new engineers. Develop a cohesive, high-performing engineering team.
Who are we looking for? Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience : 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
Technical Expertise : Strong proficiency in Laravel 5+, PHP7+, and Vue.js or similar technologies. Experience with system architecture and design.
Leadership Skills : Proven track record of leading teams and driving results in an agile environment.
Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering balanced solutions.
Keep learning : Learn new technologies and don't be afraid of trying something new.
