Your New Role Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team, including Software Engineers, Software Architects and UX DesignersOversee the entire software development lifecycle from requirements to deploymentDevelop and implement best practices and standards for high-quality software solutionsProvide technical direction and support for a successful project deliveryCollaborate with product managers and stakeholders to achieve business goalsEnsure all software solutions meet the highest standards of quality, performance and securityManage team resources effectively including hiring, training and performance managementIdentify and mitigate risks in the development process to ensure timely deliveryServe as the primary point of contact for all technical matters and report to senior managementWhat You'll Need Proven experience in a leadership role within a software engineering environmentDeep knowledge of software development methodologies and practices; proficiency in Java, Angular, Spring, Docker, OpenShift, Jenkins, Git and SQLStrategic thinking and the ability to align technical solutions with business goalsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsDegree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plusFamiliarity with invoicing, logistics or supply chain industry is advantageousGood knowledge of English
