Engineer | Aircraft Materials

We are an Engineering and Product Development Center that conceives, develops, and productizes new technologies, products, and services towards a more sustainable society.We work by bridging together cities, industry, and universities around large programs of development and industrialization of products and services, from Portugal, in high-tech sectors such as mobility, aeronautics, and space.This opportunity for an Engineer | Aircraft Materials (m/f/d) will be integrated into the Aeronautics team.Responsibilities:Select materials, processes, surface treatments, and finishing, considering basic principles of structures and/or functionality.Support design teams, review, and release of engineering drawings and documentation.Preparation and/or management of the material and hardware database.Support test campaigns to characterize material properties.Compile a Preferred Hardware Selection List.Preparation of any necessary related documentation to achieve aircraft certification.Qualifications:MSc. in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar discipline.Knowledgeable in the different manufacturing processes, aerospace materials, and treatments, sealants, paints, and coatings.Experience with methods, techniques, and test procedures to characterize material properties.Skilled in MS Office, CATIA V5, ENOVIA, VPM, and SAP in a professional work environment.Good interpersonal skills, can work independently, and demonstrate initiative to achieve the goals established.We facilitate and promote a balanced and healthy lifestyle, articulating work with personal life.
