We are looking for a skilled and motivated CAD Design Engineer to join our dynamic team in the aerospace industry.
This role involves designing and developing 3D CAD models for both composite and metallic materials, supporting testing and certification activities, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality processes.
Key Responsibilities: Adhere to product configuration rules and contribute to the creation of project reports and certification documentation.Design and develop 3D CAD models for manufacturing, ensuring they meet requirements for both composite and metallic materials.Support testing and certification activities by developing CAD models in alignment with project specifications.Ensure compliance with project requirements and quality processes throughout all phases of design and manufacturing.Evaluate inputs to select appropriate materials, treatments, and production techniques for various applications.Generate Bills of Materials (BOM) to support production and logistics processes.Identify and propose improvements to meet project targets or resolve issues.Assist with planning, execution, and control of technical activities, including task tracking and reporting project status.Provide work estimates and projections, while alerting management to potential risks, deviations, or resource needs.Contribute to cost reduction efforts by applying lean principles to design solutions and manufacturing processes.Qualifications: Academic Background: Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.Technical Skills: Proven experience working with CAD software such as CATIA, Siemens NX, SolidWorks, or similar tools.Familiarity with structural sizing analysis techniques and concepts.Proficiency in 3DEXPERIENCE, CATIA V5, and EVONIA VPM.Experience: Demonstrated experience in developing components and products in an engineering context.Language Skills: Fluent in English, both written and spoken.Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with a diverse, multidisciplinary team.
