This opportunity for an Engineer | Aircraft Aerodynamic Analysis (m/f/d) will be integrated into the Aeronautics team.
Responsibilities Develop tools/methodologies (analytical, models, etc.) to support the aerodynamic analysis process
Perform calculation and validation steps for components/products under provided load cases
Prepare and develop representative FE models from CAD geometries to perform CFD analysis
Critical post-processing and reporting of analysis' results to detect errors and apply/propose corrections
Identify issues and propose/develop improvements to meet established requirements, targets, or to solve problems
Provide the manager with any requested information for planning, execution, or control of technical activities such as: The activities' plan definition and the reporting and tracking of project tasks' status
Provide work estimates and projections
Identify goals and requirements as well as determine the most appropriate analysis for each case (analytical, numerical, mixed, etc.)
Alert to potential problems, deviations, and needs
Support the test and certification campaigns required to achieve aircraft certification
Contribute towards the creation of project reports and any other relevant certification documentation
Qualifications MSc in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautics, Mechanics, or equivalent
Proven experience with aerodynamic calculation tools and processes
Previous experience with CFD tools (Ansys Fluent, Altair Acusolve), MSOffice (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), or similar
Good programming skills in C++, Python, Fortran, and VBA
Good knowledge of materials and production techniques
Hands-on experience with CAD software (CATIA, Siemens Nx) is a plus
Good interpersonal skills to work within a diverse team, in rigorous and demanding projects, where analytical and critical thinking, as well as problem-solving skills are essential
