Hiire is helping Hakkoda to hire an Engagement Manager for their team in Portugal. We are looking for people experienced with project and program management skills, typically leading a team of 5 – 12 consultants and will help our clients in the private, public, and social sectors solve some of their most pressing data challenges. You will work with a range of experts in Hakkoda, from data scientists to architects to software and app designers. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with various data models. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills and the ability to guide clients and team members.

As a Hakkoda Engagement Manager, you will lead client engagements and Hakkoda teams in PT and in the UK. You will lead the day-to-day execution of client projects while guiding and developing individual team members. You'll work directly with clients – usually remotely – and you'll take ownership of the overall project and its end products.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other relevant fields4+ years in technically related project/program management rolesExperience leading Agile/Scrum projects and associated ceremonies; can demonstrate understanding of Agile framework;Experience working with product owners / business application owners and development teams to understand business and user requirementsExperienced in building and strengthening client relationships to achieve long-term partnershipsDevelop a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings to better align to client needsExceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skillsStrong stakeholder management, presentation, and communication skillsInitiative taker, eager to break new ground, create opportunities for othersDemonstrated leadership ability in a team environmentOutstanding project and process management skills with eye towards continuous process improvementDemonstrates solid technical acumen and understanding of the technical components of the project deliverySuperb client service skills with both creative and analytical mindsetDemonstrates proficiency in soft skills from both a client and team perspectiveCapable of handling/can be assigned to large-scale projectsAble to independently draft, communicate and present status summary of project deliverables and milestones along with issues and action itemsEffectively manages project scope and client expectations simultaneously; proactively explains process to achieve client understandingEffectively identifies and manages risks, and associated remediation; professionally handles escalation when warrantedFacilitates project UATEnsures KPIs, CSAT are being metExperience in Professional Consulting Services desiredFluency in English is a mustWe encourage you to apply even if you don't have all of these qualifications.
