ENERGY EFFICIENCY AUDITOR – INDUSTRIAL BUSINESS SECTOR (M/F/D)
This Energy Efficiency Auditor will be responsible for the oversight of company and contractor implemented programs within Ewen and Helexia's Energy Efficiency projects portfolio. It is intended to be an evolving career path in order to become an autonomous manager of energy efficiency projects and energy audits within the scope of the Portuguese legal frameworks (DL68A/2015 and DL71/2008 (SGCIE). This energy professional will participate mainly in the industry sector projects but also within large service buildings in alignment with his evolutive path accordingly with the company needs.
ResponsibilitiesPerform various project management functions, including establishing work plans, scheduling, administering and summarizing meetings, assigning and tracking tasks, managing change requests, developing status reports, and monitoring and managing budget and financials.Coordinate internal and external activities related to development, launch and oversight of pilots and demonstration such as evaluating new technologies and services, marketing campaigns and events, and various other initiatives.Manage development, administration, and reporting on projects within the portfolio.Provide oversight for implementation vendors and other contractors to ensure all requirements are met per internal and external guidelines and commitments.Stay current with ongoing trends in energy efficiency, innovation, new technologies, and demand response.Work with multiple teams within and outside of the Energy Efficiency department to ensure optimum design and implementation of deliverables.Pre sales engineering responsibilities and support in the implementation of energy efficiency projects.Maintain an appropriate positive and mutually beneficial long business relationship with business, professional groups, and industry stakeholders in support of Ewen and Helexia's broad energy efficiency objectives.Qualification & EducationDegree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrotechnical Engineering with specialization in the energy sector (preferable)
SkillsRelevant knowledge and technical background in the areas of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and heat transfer is a must for mechanical engineers, and will be valued for electrical engineers.Relevant knowledge and technical background in the areas of power quality, industrial control, instrumentation and power control (VSD's) is a must for electrical engineers, and will be valued for mechanical engineers.Effectively able to participate within teams and collaboration cross-functionally.Ability to assess and establish priorities for self and others, demonstrate flexibility and understand/communicate sense of urgency.Self-motivated, excellent problem-solving abilities and proven decision-making skills. Proactive and strong initiative profile.Domain of Microsoft Office tools.Analytical, planning and organizational skills.Strong customer and results orientation.Creativity and ease of adapting to new scenarios.Fluency in English, spoken and written (required), French is a plus.Availability for professional travels abroad for short periods of time.ExperienceExperience in similar roles will be a plus.
