Job Description
In a nutshell
Eurofins endeavours to develop all of our software applications in-house to service and support our numerous laboratories globally. With hundreds of thousands of clinical diagnostic tests performed every day, the laboratories of the Eurofins clinical diagnostic services business line strive to ensure that every patient, wherever he or she lives, has access to the most specialized and most innovative techniques for diagnosis, monitoring and therapeutic decisions. Such activities require extensive planning and organisation which can be augmented by the use of technology.
Our Clinical LIMS Europe Program will extensively be used as the central Laboratory Information Management System throughout Europe, this role is crucial in defining and delivering the product roadmap.
Where will you be based and what business will you support?
You will be based in Algés (Lisbon) and will be part of one of the scrum teams reporting into the Head of Development.

To succeed in this role, you must be capable of handling complex test cases and work effectively within an ambitious and dynamic environment. Additionally, we are looking for a reliable, collaborative team member who has high attention to details, as well as proficient communication in English.
Responsible for Planning, Designing, Managing and Executing integration tests. Test data analysis, preparation and migration. Analyzing test results.
Test execution
You ensure correct application of the test plan.
Create test log, including Pass/Fail result.
Create Defects, with sufficient test evidence, discuss with developers.
Exploratory testing with inside information.
Automate testing processes with approved tooling.
Test Report
Analysis of the test results and associated communication.
Communicate results to the Head of Development & Tech Leads.
Provide test reports and KPIs.
Suggest test improvements.
Qualifications
Are you our kind of extraordinary?
Experience:
Minimum 4 years minimum testing experience. Experienced with FrontEnd and BackEnd Test Automation.
Experienced with coding test automation scripts.
Programming skills (javascript, python, Angular, etc.).
Testing experience with APIs (REST/SOAP).
Education:
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer Science.
Skills and Abilities:
ISTQB Foundation Level certificate (IREB, PSM1 is a plus).
Excellent knowledge of test management tools and defect management systems.
Teamwork especially in a complex internal structure. Ability to effectively influence across functions and across sites to first establish shared objectives and then drive the process to achieve those joint objectives.
Analytical mindset.
Great interest and motivation to develop Test Automation in the short term and then implement Automated Processes.
Proven communication skills – must be able to build relationships internally across all functions and externally within client organizations (vertically and horizontally, with a view to establish increasingly senior relationships) and other service providers.
Used to working with multi geographic teams and work autonomously.
Must be immediately credible at a senior level within Eurofins and client organizations.
Outstanding communication skills both internally and externally. Ability to understand clients' requirements and to be able to devise and articulate the most appropriate solutions.
Knowledge of common development practices (Agile, DevOps, TDD etc).
Excellent knowledge of English is a must.
