If you have energy and passion and are looking for an exciting career overseas working as part of a multi-disciplined team, this could be the job for you.The successful candidate will hold a university degree in Medicine with a minimum of five years post-qualification experience and a specialist qualification and/or formal education program in Emergency Medicine. You must be registered to practice with the relevant professional body in your home country.Role summary:The Emergency Doctor is responsible for initiating resuscitation and stabilisation of patients as well as commencing investigations and interventions to diagnose and treat illnesses, whilst working as a multi-disciplined team.Duties and responsibilities:Carry out immediate evaluation and management of emergency patients that are brought in for treatmentLiaise with other medical staff to ensure continuity of careEnsure that all medical records are properly kept and maintainedProvide clinical reporting to Iqarus Chief Medical OfficerSupport clinical mentoring for staff developmentEnsure best practice in line with clinical guidelines and SOPsSupport the clinical excellence framework under direction from the Chief Medical OfficerProvide liaison with external agencies where required to promote chain of care continuity and professional referral/patient handoverQualificationsUniversity Degree in Medicine with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experienceA specialist qualification and/or formal education program in Emergency Medicine
