We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Embedded Systems Engineer to focus on the development of firmware for our hardware products and the integration of high-level software with the firmware. The ideal candidate will have experience in IoT and embedded systems, from microcontrollers to SoC (System-on-a-Chip), with a strong background in RTOS, bootloaders, driver development, and OTA implementation. What will be your responsIbilities Develop and maintain firmware for various hardware components; Debug system-level issues across multiple stack layers from kernel to application and drive firmware/software code optimizations; Understand software components from multiple partner teams, lead the integration of those components into an unified product code base; Develop andmaintain Yocto Project-based Linux distributions (e.G., Torizon OS); Customize existing Yocto layers, implement drivers and system configurations; Design and implement firmware unit testing and configure CI pipelines; Participatein design reviews, providing feedback and suggesting improvements to enhance hardware system performance and reliability; What arethe requirements to join us in this position Master's degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Software Engineering; 3-5 years in embedded software development; Familiar with version control systems (e.G., Git, SVN); Solid understanding of real-time embedded systems and OS (e.G., Embedded Linux, Raspbian, Yocto-based OS, Zephyr); Experience with Docker containers and Linux packaging (Debian, RPM, Yocto); Experience with Firmware unit testing. Basic awareness of cloud computing architectures; Experience troubleshooting hardware issues and providing technical support; Familiaritywith AWS services (especially IoT Core and S3).
