What we do at AMGEN matters in people's lives.ELMAC BAI Business Analytics & Insights (Sr) ManagerWHAT YOU WILL DOIn this vital role you will lead Commercial Insights and Forecasting activities for key Amgen brands across Europe, Canada, Middle East, Africa and Latin America to inform strategic decisions:Oversee primary market research, secondary analytics, short and long-term product forecasts, and brand performance tracking.Exhibit leadership and expertise in addressing business issues and opportunities through relevant analytical approaches.Represent ELMAC/O-US Insights in the Global Brand Team, be the point-of-contact for brand analytics across the region.Provide an objective and meticulous point of view on sales forecasts and product performance while collaborating with Global & Affiliates Marketing, Value & Access, Medical and Forecasting teams.Develop/maintain a regional forecasting patient model and support the affiliates in forecasting.Drive brand specific performance management in ELMAC; ensure that marketing assumptions are appropriately linked to sales performance metrics and targets.Implement primary market research projects, understanding the needs of the Global Brand team and affiliates and contributing to building the ELMAC insight generation plan.Work to translate the primary market research findings into practical insights and be able to influence the team's decision making accordingly.Improve team capabilities by implementing new research tools.Lead and elevate best-in-class country BAI community across the region.Support ad-hoc business development, licensing and case evaluations.Be part of our teamYou would be joining a strong and motivated team of experts in commercial insights and forecasting, well positioned in the organization as a valuable and reliable business partner.Being part of ELMAC BAI team means being exposed to a variety of exciting projects throughout the year and be able to see the value of your work and contributions.ELMAC BAI Team members are part of the Global Brand Team informing strategic decisions and assessments (e.g. brand planning, life cycle management, cases, long-range forecast reviews etc).In this dynamic role you will build relationships with a wide range of internal customers and external partners across geographies, functions and levels, including Senior Management Team at Global, Regional and Country levels.WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOUWe are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. What we seek in you as an experienced professional, are these qualifications and skills:Doctorate, Bachelor's or Master's degree and in-depth pharmaceutical market analysis and/or business planning experience ideally within at least one of the key ELMAC market (Germany, France, Canada, Italy, Spain or UK).Fluency in English, with excellent oral and written presentation skills with ability to explain complex concepts clearly to a variety of audiences.Demonstrated ability to translate business questions and needs into relevant research plans and synthesize multiple data sources to answer business questions.Strong leadership experience in delivering results, shaping the future and developing capabilities in BAI.Champions new innovative methodologies and tools, and lead by influence to strengthen the ELMAC country community.Prior technical experience crafting or handling KPI and performance metrics.Expert in market analysis and forecasting (forecasting models, knowledge frameworks for qualitative competitive analysis, forecasting and analytical tools).Deep understanding of the markets, brands and broader context (internal and external) of the business.
