The Lakhani Group, a prominent hotel development and construction company in Lisbon, is seeking an experienced and highly skilledElectrical Engineerto join our team. As we continue to deliver complex hotel construction and refurbishment projects in partnership withWyndham Hotels and Resorts, we are looking for a professional who can contribute to the success of our electrical infrastructure across large-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implementelectrical systemsfor hotel construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Conduct site assessments and evaluate electrical requirements for both new builds and refurbishments.
Oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting ofelectrical equipment, wiring, and systems.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project managers to ensure electrical plans align with overall project designs and timelines.
Perform regular inspections and tests to ensure electrical systems are functioning efficiently and safely.
Prepare detailed reports, technical drawings, and documentation for electrical plans, schematics, and specifications.
Ensure compliance with all local, national, and international electrical codes and standards.
Manage energy consumption, recommend cost-saving measures, and implementsustainable energy solutions.
Provide technical support and guidance to the construction team during project execution.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to sourceelectrical materialsand equipment at competitive prices.
Requisitos
Requirements:
Degreein Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience as anElectrical Engineerin large-scale construction projects (preferably in thehospitality or hotelsector).
Strong knowledge ofelectrical systems design, installation, and maintenance.
Familiarity withelectrical codes, regulations, and industry standards in Portugal.
Proficiency inAutoCADand other relevant design software for creating electrical schematics and blueprints.
Strongproblem-solving and troubleshooting skillsin complex electrical systems.
Excellent project management and organizational abilities, with attention to detail.
Fluency in Portuguese and Englishis required.
Experience withenergy-efficient technologiesandrenewable energy solutionsis a plus.
