ROLE: Electrical Manufacturing Coordinator

As part of this expansion, we are looking for an Electrical Manufacturing Coordinator who is ambitious to learn, curious, engaged, and a natural team leader to join our Operational Team in Portugal, where we want to continue manufacturing some of our European and Global projects.

You are someone with experience in industrial maintenance, commissioning, and supervising electrical jobs, and you are able to conclude electrical and mechanical installations. You consider yourself:

The Role:
This role would suit a driven and motivated Electrical Manufacturing Coordinator. Day to day you will:
Analyze critically the electrical designs for each project
Suggest and discuss possible adjustments
Work closely with our engineers and manufacturing coordinator
Support the Operational Manager in Portugal
Coordinate the local electrical team
Assure training of the production team whenever needed
Coordinate the Service Team
Assure product maintenance
Indicate and follow timeframes
Distribute the supportive drawings of each job to the electrical team
Clarify possible doubts
Do a daily follow-up on the work loading
Help develop processes to be followed in the electrical production area
Monitor the expected timeframes and communicate any necessary adjustments internally
Ensure that the product is ready on time and in full
Manufacture the electrical equipment (panels)
Guarantee the most cost-efficient work
Indicate possible alternatives to achieve the most cost-efficient production
Fulfill the quality tests of each product and acceptance tests
Control electrical stock
Update internal documentation to keep the team informed
Work on continuous improvement
Fulfill H&S requirements of the production team
Your Skills:
The successful candidate will have:
Approved experience in the manufacturing area
Commissioning experience
Approved electrical and mechanical installation knowledge
The ability to understand and review technical drawings
Strong leadership skills
Effective organizational and time management skills
Competence in problem-solving, team building, and decision-making
Strong verbal & written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Proactive in supporting the local production team
Good verbal and written skills in Portuguese and English
Microsoft Office skills
Qualifications and Experience Levels:
Relevant manufacturing degree or equivalent professional experience, extensive plant-level experience with significant proven supervisory knowledge, technical understanding of electrical drawings, team supervision and coordination approved, understanding of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Kaizen, lean manufacturing, experience managing Profit & Loss responsibilities for electrical manufacturing, and understanding of manufacturing & maintenance.

For this specific job description, we are offering:
2,200€ gross salary
9,60€ daily meal allowance to be paid on meal card
