As part of this expansion, we are looking for an electrical manufacturing coordinator who is ambitious to learn, curious, engaged and a native team leader who can join our Operational Team in Portugal, where we want to continue manufacturing some of our European and Global projects.
We have expanded our production recently to Portugal, where we work closely with a local partner, who is supporting us with the manufacturing process.
Now we need an Electrical Manufacturing Coordinator to support the local team and help coordinating the production process on this area.

Who Are You You are someone with experience in the industrial maintenance, commissioning and supervising electrical jobs and able to conclude electrical and mechanical installations.

Day to day you will: ? Analyse critically the electrical designs for each project ? Suggest and discuss possible adjustments ? Work closely with our engineers and manufacturing coordinator ? Supporting the Operational Manager in Portugal ? Coordinate the local electrical team ? Assure training of the production team whenever needed ? Coordinate the Service Team ? Assure product maintenance ? Indicate and follow timeframes ? Distribute the supportive drawings of each job to the electrical team ? Clarify possible doubts ? Do a daily follow-up on the work loading ? Help developing processes to be followed on the electrical production area ? Monitor the expected timeframes and if necessary any adjustments, communicate immediately internally ? Assure that the product is ready on time and in full ? Manufacture the electrical equipment (panels) ? Guarantee the most cost efficient work ? Indicate possible alternatives to achieving the most cost efficient production ? Fulfill the quality tests of each product and fulfill acceptance tests ? Control of electrical stock ? Update of internal documentation to keep the team informed ? Work on continuous improvement ? Fulfill the H&S requirements of the production team Your Skills The successful candidate will have: ? Approved experience on manufacturing area ? Commissioning experience ? Approved electrical and mechanical installation knowledge ? The ability to understand and review technical drawings ? Strong leadership skills ? Effective organisational and time management skills ? Competence in problem solving, team building and decision making ? Strong verbal & written communication skills ? Excellent interpersonal skills ? Effective organisational and time management skills ? Be proactive in supporting the local production team ? Good verbal and written in Portuguese and English ? Microsoft Office skills Qualifications and Experience Levels: ? Relevant manufacturing degree or equivalent professional experience ? Extensive plant level experience with significant proven supervisory knowledge ? Technical understanding of electrical drawings ? Team Supervision and Coordination approved ? Understanding of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Kaizen, lean manufacturing ? Experience of managing Profit & Loss responsibilities for electrical manufacturing ?
