Our Maintenance team in Ovar is looking for its next Electrical Maintenance Supervisor. In this exciting and dynamic role, you can expect to supervise the team and coordinate working activities, ensuring that maintenance work is implemented on time and meets quality standards.
Your activities, in detail
Coordinate maintenance related activities.
Supervise a team of maintenance technicians.
Approve preventive maintenance plans and corrective maintenance interventions, as well as requested or necessary improvement orders.
Ensure maintenance work is supervised and executed within timelines and in compliance with quality standards.
Support Production Department analyzing root causes and implementing solutions.
Implement Continuous Improvement actions in electrical and automation production processes.
Parameterization of drivers, sensors and actuators.
Manage industrial projects.
Participate in Energy and Sustainability programs.
Perform functional analysis of devices and machines during approval phase.
Interacting with other technical teams.
What you need to be successful in this role
BSc/MSc in Electrical, Automation or Electromechanical Engineering (other Engineering fields might be considered).
Experience in industrial electrical and electromechanical maintenance.
Experience in Automation software development (Siemens PLC programming, HMI software development).
At least 5 years' experience in a similar role.
Fluent Portuguese (min. C1) and good command of English (min. B2).
SAP skills (preferred).
Excellent interpersonal skills, such as communication and negotiation, team working and proactivity.
Strong team and project leadership skills.
Analytical thinking, methodical ways of working and motivation to join a fast-pace and demanding working environment.
