A Snapshot of Your Day:

Start the day by gathering information about current projects and customer inquiries.
Check emails and communicate with the team if necessary to ensure alignment.
Begin commissioning the generator and controls after safety briefing and risk assessment.
Conduct signal testing of all binary and analog signals for the generator control.
Address errors in collaboration with customers or subcontractors.
Verify settings and parameterization of devices and facilities for control.
Adapt and reprogram programmable logic controllers as needed.
Check safety devices, test trigger circuits, and document results before hot commissioning.
Perform primary checks once the machine is operational.
Record machine-specific characteristics and test protective functions.
Provide technical support and advice during periods without customer deployment.
Perform incident analysis and remote troubleshooting.

How You'll Make an Impact:
Other responsibilities include:

Performing cold and hot commissioning activities of generator and electric control systems.
Responsible for generator excitation, protection, and synchronization systems.
Optimizing controls and regulations.
Good analytical skills to work out complex concepts and solutions.
Tackling hardware and software errors by running diagnostics and prioritizing resolutions.
Carrying out trial operations, customer training, and technical customer advice.
Providing troubleshooting and incident analysis.

What You Bring:
To be successful in this role, you need:

Bachelor, Licentiate, or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field.
Several years of experience in field service or commissioning related to generators, controls, protection systems, or frequency converters.
Declared intention to live and work abroad for an extended period.
Good knowledge of energy production and distribution.
Valid passport and driving license.
Willingness to travel worldwide with short notice.
Ability to work on weekends and bank holidays if required.
High proficiency in written and spoken English.
Critical thinking, dynamic performance, and strong communication skills.
Resilient, communicative personality with empathy and teamwork skills.
Interest in contributing to a successful energy transition.
CV in Europass standard in English with course names and marks list in English.
