We are on the lookout for an Electrical Design Engineer to join our innovative team as our newest #bloqstar! We're searching for a talented individual to help define the electrification of our products and integrate advanced battery technology. What will be your responsibilities Design and develop electrical systems and components, including battery systems, chargers, solar and power supplies; Create detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and harness layouts; Design and optimize battery systems, ensuring safety, efficiency, and reliability; Evaluate and select appropriate battery cell technologies Develop and implement charging solutions for various applications; Define the electrical harnesses, connector systems and other components such as Circuit Breakers, Contactors and UPS; Ensure compatibility and reliability of harnesses and connectors in different environmental conditions; Design and optimize lighting systems for energy efficiency and performance; Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations; Conduct electrical testing and validation of components and systems; Create detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports; What are the requirements to join us in this position Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Proven experience in electrical system design, particularly in battery systems, chargers, harnesses, and connectors; Experience inPCB Design using Altium, KiCad or equivalent; Proficiency in CAD software for electrical design (EPLAN) and mechanical assemblies; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct complex analyses; Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines; Extra valued skills Experience with solar integration and related technologies; Experience designing and implementing BMS and board-level power supplies (buck, boost, and flyback); What will you get if you join us in this position The opportunity to join our team and play a pivotal role in contributing to innovative solutions that redefine Bloq
