Integrated in Operations team, this professional will have as main mission: maintain and improve the Health, Safety and Environmental Management Systems, ensuring all policies are up to date, relevant, in compliance with the law, implemented effectively and meet the requirements of local accreditations.
Namely in the assessment and prevention of risks, analysis of audits and production of documentation of the various subjects.
He/she should be able to anticipate hazards and risk situations by being proactive in decision-making.
Job Responsabilities: - Develop and implement processes of EHS risk identification and risk assessment.
- Identify gaps in legislative compliance, EL guideline compliance and review performance information.
In conjunction with the site management, - Work in partnership with multidisciplinary teams in Emergency response and crisis management, being able to identify and implement measures that allow anticipating and mitigation of all associated risks; - Participate in the coordination of internal EHS inspections on the degree of health and compliance with standards prevention measures in jobs and the environment; - Collaborate in the preparation, supervision and participation in audits (internal, external and health authorities) and closely monitor non-conformities, constatations and improvement proposals resulting from the audit; - Carry out the analysis of accidents at work, providing solutions to reduce the risk of accidents; - Maintain appropriate EHS records, data and timely reporting - Control the site Hazard, Near Miss and Reportable data base - Produce and keep up to date all documentation related to the EHS to have a proactive role in the research, recommendation and implementation of the EHS best practices, PPE, re-usage, recycling and waste valorization and utilities consumption (water, electricity); - Identify, develop and facilitate appropriate safety, health and environmental training and refresher training - Promote a safety culture and the awareness of all employees regarding the Policy of Safety, Health??and? Hygiene at Work, - Be part of EMEA EHS team, to share and implement best practices and directives existing within EMEA.
- May be responsible for waste management – controlling waste streams, reconciliation of waste documents – through identifying, classifying and controlling correctly Candidate Profile: - Academic Qualifications: Degree in Safety and Hygiene at Work, Environmental Engineering or similar; - Proven professional experience in the area (minimum 2 years) in full EHS scope and focuses in EH; - CAP: Level VI course in Occupational Hygiene and Safety (mandatory); - Trainer CCP (mandatory); - Great computer skills, namely in Office and SAP; - Fluent English level (spoken and written); - Excellent communication skills and interpersonal relationship; - Ability to anticipate and solve problems as well as quick decision-making.
