Your role and responsibilitiesAs an eCommerce User Experience Lead (UX Lead), you will drive the adoption, utilization, and revenue growth of the new ABB Shop eCommerce platform. You will act as the bridge between the design team and the development team, ensuring that the products developed provide a positive user experience. Your responsibilities include:
Responsible for the delivery of digital products with a focus on UX design.Create user journey maps representing understanding of customer needs and pain points, and use those insights to define product features, prioritize the product backlog, and ensure timely delivery to high-quality standards.Collaborate with stakeholders including UX/UI designers, developers, product owners, and clients to ensure UX alignment with project objectives and requirements.Gather feedback from stakeholders to ensure product alignment with business goals and customer needs.Combine data-driven insights with empathy for users to create innovative UX solutions, applying design thinking methodologies for conceptualization and feedback gathering.Manage project UX design-related backlogs.Identify, track, and mitigate project risks to ensure delivery is on time and within budget.Communicate roadmap and project updates to senior management and other teams within the organization.Be the voice of the user within the team, advocating for human-centric design decisions.Solve complex delivery problems considering user goals, accessibility, business requirements, and development needs.Continuously enhance delivery practices and workflows.Analyze and evaluate current user interfaces and propose usability improvements.Conduct competitive analysis research to better understand prevalent interaction designs/solutions.Qualifications for the roleBachelor/Master or equivalent in Digital Design, User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.Documented work experience in a design portfolio showcasing examples from shippable products (B2B environment, Web, WPF, iOS, Android).Minimum of 7 years of experience showcasing B2B experience, with successfully shipped products to market with a strong focus on UX/UI and overall CX.Experienced in agile development methodologies and relevant tools (SAFe certification is a plus).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and prioritize user needs from a customer perspective.Deep knowledge of UX design principles and HCD methodologies such as user research, user journey, user persona, UI designs aligned with design systems, Hi-fi click prototypes, etc.Advanced digital CX E2E understanding (eCommerce focus is a plus).Proficiency in design tools like Figma and Adobe CC.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with designers, developers, senior management, and other stakeholders.Able to handle multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities.Preferred experience in Magento / Adobe commerce, Adobe Experience Cloud Products, and Adobe Creative Suite.Understanding of HTML, CSS, and other front-end development languages and frameworks to communicate effectively with developers.Proficiency in project management software such as Jira, Trello, Asana.Demonstrated success in driving customer experience up, measured in overall satisfaction, increased sales, retention rate, and repeats.Strong understanding of analytical tools (Google Analytics, Hotjar, Adobe Analytics).Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.Ideally, candidate would reside in the European Union or be able to work remotely during European time.More about usWe look forward to receiving your application (documents submitted in English are appreciated).
