We are partnering with a fast-growing sports media organisation with presence in the UK, Europe and US market.
With a recent partnership acquisition of a well-known football club in the Netherlands, the organisation is looking to appoint a Dutch Speaking Business Development Manager to support the football league to expand his partnership in the region.
The role would be working on the end-to-end sales cycle with regional businesses to be part of the associate partners program with the sports club.
Key Responsibilities:
Generating and converting new business development leads in the appointed region.
Managing and owning the 360 Sales cycle of new business, from lead generation to closing the deals.
Arranging online and in-person meetings with clients in the appointed region.
Keeping up to date with the sports news and community.
Managing and updating information on the CRM system.
Participating in regional or sports-related events.
Additional ad-hoc duties including expanding to other markets.
About You:
The ideal candidate for the role will be a Business Developer, with fluency in Dutch and previous experience in managing the end-to-end sales cycle. The role would be a fantastic opportunity for someone with an interest in sport to be part of a dynamic and driven team, while partnering with sports clubs in the Netherlands and connecting with local businesses.
Profile:
Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken, is a must for the role.
Any additional European language would be a great advantage, especially German.
Previous experience in managing the 360 sales cycle, from lead generation to closing the deal.
Previous experience in B2B sales is a must, ideally in a SaaS, Media environment.
An interest in sports would be a great advantage.
Experience in using sales tools (Salesforce, Sales Navigator).
Good knowledge of the MS Office package.
A strong team player attitude.
