Job Description The primary duties of the doorperson are to welcome our guests in a pleasant and helpful manner, and to provide assistance into and out of the property as necessary.
Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform and nametag while working.Comply at all times with Fairmont standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.Greet guests in a pleasant manner by opening doors.Load luggage onto carts.Escort guests checking in with luggage to the front desk.Call for cabs.Call the garage for valet cards.Give directions to guests.Open front door for guests.Call for shuttle.Load and unload shuttle with luggage.Maintain order of cars on the curb for efficient valet operations. Qualifications Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
