.Mission As the Document Controller your mission is developing, managing, and maintaining the document management systems for the company and all projects/programs, internally and with external partners, ensuring compliance with standards and providing progress reports for senior management. You will report to the Project Controls Manager and work closely with the project teams, Senior Project Director, and CTO. What will you do? Coordinate and oversee the document control process at Lifthium, including managing document flow with suppliers and contractors, and expediting review cycles with engineers and partners. Ensure the effective distribution of incoming documents to relevant stakeholders. Track the turn-around of documents in the review and/or approval phase and follow-up with individuals to ensure agreed turn-around times are maintained. Produce regular reports to track document status, participate in cross-location coordination meetings to improve efficiency. Generate reports for the Senior Project Director and Controls Manager, highlighting review and approval status and any overdue documents. Communicate effectively with third parties and document control teams to ensure smooth document exchange, indexing, and distribution. Work closely with teams to organize critical documents like project plans, contracts, and drawings. Conduct regular document audits to ensure compliance with formal requirements and standards. Manage electronic and hard copy documents, facilitating storage and retrieval as needed. Ensure the latest revisions of documents are in circulation and previous revisions are archived. Create detailed progress reports for senior management to showcase document control advancements. What will you bring? Tertiary education in Business Administration, Office Management, Project Management or similar. 5+ years of experience in document management, preferably in engineering and/or technical fields. Highly advantageous to have good understanding of various engineering disciplines and/or project management phases and processes. Responsible for maintaining accurate document/vendor data and guiding Engineering and Project teams. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and adapt to changing priorities. Energetic, self-motivated, and eager to learn. Can work independently or in a team environment. Collaborates effectively with stakeholders. Good communication and organizational skills.
