JOB DESCRIPTIONDistribution Sales Development Managerfor Endoscopy and Infection Prevention in Portugal
Join Ecolab's sales team as a Distribution Sales Development Manager. This outside sales opportunity is within our Healthcare division.
You will be responsible for obtaining and maintaining long term key customers by comprehending their requirements. The ideal candidate will be apt in building strong relationships with strategic customers.
You will be able to identify needs and requirements to promote our company's solutions and achieve mutual satisfaction. The goal is to contribute in sustaining and growing our business to achieve long-term success.
What You Will Do:
Build rapport and cultivate relationships with distributor representatives and customers of Endoscopy and Infection Prevention in Portugal.
Develop and execute business and marketing plans for assigned distributors
Coordinate and supervise distribution and sales activities in the cleaning and infection prevention sector.
Cold-call and prospect to secure new accounts and generate new sales within a specific geographic area Portugal,as you build Ecolab's brand in your market
Work closely with the sales and marketing team to develop effective strategies.
Conduct market analysis and evaluate growth opportunities.
Regularly travel throughout Portugal to meet with distributors and clients.
Maintain open communication with distributors in Portugal and the Endoscopy team in Spain (Madrid).
Introduce new products and enhance distributor sales and service capabilities through presentations, training and demonstrations
Identify competitive sales targets and facilitate cross-divisional sales opportunities

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business or similar
3+ years of outside sales experience with distributors management and the healthcare sector.
Solid Knowledge ofof medical devices, particularly in Endoscopy and Infection Prevention.
Willing to travel overnight as required
A positive and enthusiastic approach to solving challenges to exceed client expectations
Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
Ability to fluently speak Portuguese, Spanish, and English.
Reside in Lisbon or Oporto, Portugal.
Skill in conducting distributor market analysis and diagnostics.
Strategic vision and understanding of the business model in Portugal.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous business to business commercial sales experience
Proven negotiation, relationship management, communication and presentation skills
Specific experience in Endoscopy and Infection Prevention.
Deep understanding of the cleaning and disinfection market.
Availability to travel to Spain (Madrid) at least 2 days every 3 weeks
