Job Description We are seeking a talented Sales Engineer who will work with the Sales team to increase the pace of Cloud Adoption within a predefined number of existing customers and prospects.
You will play a key role in helping them reach the potential of Cloud solutions, develop creative cloud solutions and architectures to solve their business challenges, and problem-solve any potential technical roadblocks.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background combined with a sales-driven mentality.
You will act as the glue that binds the sales team with the customer on one hand and with the internal delivery engineering teams on the other.
You are the technical point of contact for a customer.
You are engaged from the very first discovery conversation where you explore what the customer is looking to achieve.
You take that introduction to identifying the solution, building the right architecture, engaging the right internal teams, demonstrating the idea, presenting the solution to multiple stakeholders, accompanying a proof of concept execution (and participating hands-on), and finally overseeing it all while the dream gets implemented.
Qualifications Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related Software Engineering field or equivalent practical experience; Experience with architectures using cloud services in different IT fields (e.g., Infrastructure, DevOps, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering and others); Know-how of Cloud Market Dynamics and Customer Buying Behaviour; Preferred qualifications: Master's degree in Computer Science or other technical field; More than 4 years of hands-on knowledge delivering projects and/or designing architectures; Sales or PreSales experience is valued; Proficiency with major cloud providers; Expertise with Cloud Governance models: infrastructure provisioning and configuration, cost management (FinOps), identity access & management, etc; Proven ability to architect and develop software or infrastructure for scalable and secure distributed systems.
