Title and Summary
Director, Product Management, Global Installments
Overview:
Today's digital economy is delivering more choice not only in how we pay, but when. Installment payments, also known as buy now, pay later, give people the power and flexibility to purchase what they need when they need it and to pay for it over time. That gives consumers the ability to budget and plan for purchases more responsibly, with minimal friction — no paperwork and a near-instant decision.
To meet the growing consumer demand for flexible payments, Mastercard has a comprehensive suite of Installments solutions which allow issuers, fintechs, wallets, BNPL providers, and other licensed lenders to provide consumer-centric installments offers leveraging both existing and new credit lines.
Mastercard Installments product suite is comprised of BNPL programs which can be offered across the Mastercard network, as well as installments solutions for existing credit lines leveraging Mastercard Installments Payment Services, a modern API-based solution. All solutions enable more choice for consumers who are turning to installment financing as a helpful financial management/budgeting tool.
