We are seeking a Director of People and Organization to lead and oversee the Recruitment, P&O Services, and MPRD (Manager, People Relationship, and Development) teams. While all team members are based in Portugal, some will provide global services, making this role critical in aligning local operations with international needs.

This position will play a pivotal role in building collaborative and global processes, fostering teamwork, and driving engagement and motivation across the organization working closely with the Portuguese leadership team and our headquarters in Germany.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT Lead, coach, develop, and motivate a high-performing team delivering People & Organization services locally and supporting operations internationally, ensuring alignment with business needs. Coach and mentor business leaders on managing key people challenges, providing guidance and insight to build confidence and capability in people management. Oversee the implementation and effective communication of key P&O programs, including development plans, performance reviews, employer branding, retention initiatives, and other strategic programs to drive employee engagement and organizational success. Serve as a key bridge between local and global operations, fostering synergy, efficiency, collaboration, and alignment across teams, processes, and organizational goals. Collaborate with leaders to identify, prioritize, and enhance organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes to support long-term business objectives. Drive and support change management initiatives that enable the growth and development of both people and the business. Provide actionable insights and data-driven recommendations on headcount, budgets, attrition, and other key HR metrics to support strategic decision-making. Lead and ensure the successful execution of critical annual HR processes, including workforce planning, performance evaluations, engagement & retention, talent reviews, and salary reviews. WHAT YOU BRING ALONG Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Law, or Labor Relations; HR qualifications are a plus. 5–8 years of solid HR experience, including roles with people management responsibilities. Experience working in a multinational context, with cultural adaptability and sensitivity. Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in German is an advantage. Familiarity with local labor laws and personnel regulations. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage organizational change initiatives effectively. Strong sense of ethics, with the ability to handle sensitive situations discreetly and maintain confidentiality. High emotional intelligence, active listening abilities, and strong relationship-building skills.
