Title and Summary
Director - Consumer Core Products
Overview Reporting to the VP, Consumer Credit, this person is part of a collaborative team that drives the development, execution, and ongoing management of key credit segments (e.g., Affluent), including ongoing enhancements to the Company's consumer value proposition (CVP). Key aspects of this role will involve end-to-end product life cycle management, operational readiness, and ensuring product competitiveness globally.
Role
Develop and maintain up-to-date consumer and market insights and intelligence to identify product line and CVP opportunities to support segment-based value propositions globally.
Support the relevant research activities that inform both the current and future credit products at a global, regional, or country level that will enhance existing product lines.
Support the development of differentiated value propositions to meet the current and emerging needs of consumers and customers; identify critical internal and external benefits and platforms that will be required to fulfill the end value proposition, including the definition of a Minimum Viable Product.
Work collaboratively with global and regional stakeholders to enhance the core PLS/CVP narrative; uncovering product performance insights to develop best practices, case studies, and overall thought leadership.
Lead the effort in managing and enhancing product operations and core product requirements globally by partnering with key functional stakeholders such as legal, compliance, franchise, and engineering.
Support the development and implementation of new product tiers, ensuring overall global product readiness by partnering with key functional stakeholders legal, compliance, franchise, pricing, and engineering.
All About You
Payment industry experience with relevant understanding of Mastercard credit products, competitive offerings, and industry trends.
Strong Product Manager experience with demonstrated track record of driving continuous improvement and measurable results.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments; comfortable managing all aspects of the product lifecycle.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to structure analysis, identify insights, and create applicable strategies and/or recommendations.
Effective communicator adept at building narratives that inform and persuade others.
Comfortable in a global role; adapt personal work style to accommodate an ever changing, diverse group of stakeholders.
Self-directed, strong collaborator, ability to work cross-functionally and manage through influence.
Bachelor's degree required.
