About the role Our Digital Technology (DT) Finance Tech Pool team, composed of 10 people, is integrated in the DT Enterprise and Business Service Platform department and focuses on IT solutions in the Finance and Treasury domain in collaboration with business experts.As a Digital Technology Finance & Treasury Specialist, you will work on developing reliable and cost efficient IT solutions, handling escalated support requests and proposing & evaluating new software to support business and process experts in improving processes and tools currently in use. You will get the opportunity to contribute to enhance the effectiveness, efficiency and compliance of finance and treasury processes and have a positive impact on the Solvay treasury team at a worldwide scale.You will be accountable for:Designing, building and maintaining reliable and cost efficient IT solutions aligned with businesses and end-to-end process requirements in Accounts Receivables & Payables, Factoring, Credit, Collections & Treasury domainHandling escalated support requestsSupporting business and process experts in improving processes and tools currently in use in order to enhance the effectiveness, efficiency and compliance of accounts payables processesManaging projects under Finance and Treasury topicsFinding new technologies and solutions on treasury topics for SolvayWe offer a permanent contract based on hybrid working mode.About you Relevant education degree or equivalent in Business ManagementRelevant work experience of over 10 years in SAP FI/TR in ERP 6.0+, with expertise in FSCM, treasury processes, bank integration, and SAP technical solutions like LSMW, IDOCs, and interfaces.Knowledge in FI/TR integration with other SAP modules (CO, MM, SD, HR) and impact evaluation of configuration changes.SAP Bank communication management (BCM)Proficient in analyzing functional/technical needs, identifying gaps, and proposing alternative solutions.Skilled in resolving configuration and functional issues across FI/TR processes.Experienced in creating functional system specifications and documenting existing solutions.Capable of leading IS projects and understanding ABAP code.Behaviors:Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team environmentStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.Ability to work on more than one effort at a time.Fluency in English, written and oral, in order to be able to attend/conduct meetings with business users, colleagues and external partners and to write business specifications and documentation. French speaking is a plus.About the pay and benefits Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the Portugal base pay reasonably expected for this role is 37,520 EUR to 56,100 EUR (Annual Base Salary), your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience.
