Job Description We are actively seeking a Digital Engineer to join our Advanced Converter Group in Lisbon, Portugal. This team, part of the Renesas Engineering Group, is focused on designing state-of-the-art Data-Converters for use in high-performance products for Automotive, Industrial, Infrastructures and IoT applications. This is an opportunity to join a highly talented mixed-signal design team working in multiple aspects of chip design, including architecture, design and silicon validation. Key Responsibilities: Digital design on Advanced Data-Converter solutions (ADCs and DACs) including calibration, control and signal processing Design and verification of optimized digital blocks meeting functional and behavioral requirements, area/cost and power constraints and ensuring spec compliance Participation in all aspects of the Mixed-Signal design flow - Architecture, Design partitioning, RTL Verilog / SystemVerilog Design (code and verification), AMS Verification, Timing Constraints, Synthesis, Interaction with P&R team Top level test-bench creation and gate level verifications Interface with Synthesis and P&R for digital hand-off and post layout verifications Participation in the DFT strategy and implementation Qualifications Degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or equivalent 2+ Years industry experience in digital design Strong RTL coding skills Understanding of mixed-signal IC design and good knowledge of ASIC design methodology The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of synthesizable design, timing constraints, and how their design implementation looks on silicon The ideal candidate will be familiar with the full back-end design flow, including Synthesis, P&R and post-layout verifications Must have experience with industry-standard Synopsys, Cadence, Mentor, and other tools used in flows Working knowledge of revision control tools such as SOS or SVN is a plus Must be a team player and yet be an independent thinker with strong design fundamentals Attention to detail, accuracy, and good written and verbal communication skills Fluent in working-level English, both written and spoken Confident and proactive attitude about own role and contribution to company goals #J-18808-Ljbffr
