WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Onsite Digital User Experience (UX) Design and deliver a rolling regional digital improvement programme focused on ecommerce sales growth, customer journey and conversion optimisation, including but not limited to: ecommerce category/landing page optimisation with a strong focus on our own house assortment (OHA) brands, personalisation, A/B and user testing initiatives. Measurement of the improvement plan will be supported by the Ecommerce / Digital Analyst.
Working with the Global Design Board to proactively define and prioritise user experience improvements so that these are developed as enhancements.
Advising the Business Process Management (BPM) – Digital Sales Team and the RWE Ecommerce Manager on requirements for feature enhancements.
Content Management System Development (Regional CMS Main Editor) Operate as the regional Content Management System (CMS) subject matter authority, by championing adoption to ensure knowledge transfer and best in class content production.
Lead the training and support programme for all CMS editors within the region through the provision of webinars, training and "how to" documentation relating to the CMS as well as a robust support framework for content sharing, issues, bugs and requests.
Identify opportunities to enhance existing website CMS features with the aim of improving user experience and online conversion as well as working with the Group CMS Product Owner and other regional CMS leads to define the CMS Roadmap.
Ecommerce Content Activation Together with the group client Online Marketing, lead the regional strategy, implementation and process framework for templated web content, incorporating imagery, video, forms, and any other content requirements, ensuring best in class content is developed at scale for local markets and governed against brand guidelines.
Support the content automation agenda, through processes and technical integrations from our master Product Information Management (PIM) system.
Drive content excellence with markets to ensure local execution is guided by best practice, utilising content produced at Group as far as possible and capturing and sharing local learnings.
Onsite SEO Develop a framework for driving onsite SEO performance, including reporting, tactics, and strategy, that can be rolled out across the region.
Lead subsidiary markets consulting them on SEO strategy and demonstrating mid and long-term ROI.
Lead relationships with third parties including agencies ensuring consistent delivery and efficient effective ways of working.
Onsite Internal Search Support the Digital Content Executive with communicating the internal search strategy for the region including provision of training and sharing of best practices to increase the overall usage and performance of our onsite search tool and, most importantly, improving the online experience of our customers.
Other Digital Projects Act as the regional lead for all relevant Group client digital projects and provide valuable input and feedback in line with subsidiary needs across the Region.
Key Goals Delivery of the regional digital improvement programme in line with business objectives and updated annually. Delivery of the ongoing CMS training and ongoing support framework. Define frameworks, processes and tools with the Group client to ensure the activation of content across the region to achieve the greatest possible efficiencies. Improved regional SEO performance measured through increase rankings, improved conversion rates and increased online revenues. Provision of training and ongoing support for the group Onsite Search Tool across the region to enhance the user experience and drive ecommerce conversion.
WHAT YOU BRING ALONG
Your Mindset: Customer-oriented, and an enthusiastic team player and will bring a positive attitude to the Western Europe region.
Excellent planning, organisational skills and deadline management skills with an ability to work in a matrixed organisation as well as the ability work independently and manage projects with many moving parts.
Keen to understand the issues and needs of the individual subsidiaries and find efficient solutions which deliver value.
Able to build strong relationships with colleagues across the sales organisation within the regions as well as at the Group client.
Ability to be able to be creative and influential in developing solutions.
Willingness to travel across Western Europe.
Strong sense of ownership, self-motivated and strive to find more efficient ways of getting things done.
Your Digital Marketing Experience: Experience working with content management systems; OpenText and First Spirit experience would be advantageous but not essential.
Strong marketing and content creation experience, preferably in B2B marketing.
Proven track record in Digital user experience and eCommerce project management.
Solid understanding of best practice web analytics (ideally in GA4).
Experienced in SEO and in funnel-based content strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, conversions, pipeline and revenue.
Solid understanding of best practice web analytics.
Your Overall Experience: Excellent communication, organisation, project management and collaboration skills.
Market understanding, preferably B2B.
Ability to manage multiple tasks to a high standard.
Minimum 8 years ecommerce / digital content experience.
Able to work effectively and build strong relationships with a range of colleagues and stakeholders.
Proficiency in English is a must, other European languages are advantageous but not essential.
